John
"Da Goaler" Gornick was born in Soudan, MN and now resides
in Villa Park, CA. John has been minding the net for the Quakes
for the past 13 seasons. He is big and his stand-up type goaltending
has brought the Quakes a few Championships over the years. John
has led the league in save percentage a few seasons even though
the Quakes has had the highest shots against average in the league
the past decade. The Quakes drafted "Da Goaler" straight
out of his senior year playing for Minnesota/Duluth, where he had
just missed winning the NCAA Championship. John is one of the leaders
on the ice as well as off the ice playing in all sorts of charity
benifit games for under-priveleged children. |
